Clean Homes

Clean up your home, without exposing yourself and your family to toxic chemicals. This workshop presents the dirt on cleaning chemicals and their risks. We provide the simple steps and strategies to help you implement a truly 'CLEAN' cleaning program in your home. We also present various services and products should you be interested.

Clean Offices

So the paint and carpet are off-gassing volatile organic compounds, your co-worker wears a perfume containing too many synthetic chemicals, too many drink from disposable cups and bottles and cans and eat take-out - your office environment may play more havoc with our health than we realize - and it's so easy to make a big difference here…and very rewarding! We focus on the area(s) that you choose after an initial briefing and provide simple strategies to make your workplace, safer, cleaner and healthier. We also encourage workplaces to include a program for reducing waste and inspiring good health by speaking about Litterless Eating and Drinking.

Clean Schools

A small change in something as simple as the cleaning products used at a school could make a significant difference. We also like to incorporate our popular litterless lunch program here – accomplishing more for students and staff than one can imagine. This program is designed to protect all those who work or learn within the schools and help them to inspire others through classrooms and even the staffroom.

Knowing how to shop and make your own decisions is most important here. Where can you find the items you want, how to decide what is simple “greenwashing” and what is actually green? We will present the sources and inspiration to shop best for you, your family or your business. And, each person receives our own “knocking your tox off” shopping card to help you when you are actually standing in the aisle wondering!

Clean Beauty

The eternal quest for beauty may be damaging more than your self-esteem. In this workshop, Borden Communications discusses the various chemicals in skincare and cosmetic products and their risks and dangers. Participants will be taught to read labels effectively and will learn which compounds should be avoided.

Clean Babies

This presentation provides simple, easy to implement strategies to minimize risk of high levels of dangerous chemical exposure. The presentation can be tailored to address the making of a safe nursery for a pre-natal group, or can focus on safe playrooms, bathrooms and children’s rooms…and we include making outdoor areas safe and working with allergies. Side Note – Lisa Borden is not only eco-advocate here, but mother of 3, and has a daughter with severe allergies.
